Suddenly, the urge to pen down my thoughts came fast and furious. And as suddenly as I left, I am back again to blogging.
A lot of things happened during my 'absence'. Some are worth mentioning and some are best forgotten...
My children are now 24 and 21. My daughter has gotten married and soon I would be posting about me being a grandma. How time flies...
Oh! I digress...
Yes! I am determined to lose 3-4 kg. I used to frequent the gym but due to work and 'guilt' (long story), I have totally abandoned the gym and would usually head back straight home after work has ended.
With my husband's help and personal training, I used to train hard. I did weight training. I did crunches. I did functional training and I had never felt so good and so healthy in my life - when I was religiously going to the gym that is. When it was the school holidays (December), I used to go to the Gym at Orchard (now no more), everyday. Yes, every single day. I was toned and I daresay, my butt was on its way to its perkiness glory, after all those squats and lunges.
What a difference a it makes. I can feel my butt sagging and my tummy bloating....no it's not a feeling. It's a fact. The pull of gravity is doing its job well.
Ok! I'm going to do a diet plan that will work for me and stick to it. I will start to do a little bit of jogging or brisk walking for a start.
It starts now!
